I optimistic this will turn out well. New owner(s) are associated with Budd Bay Cafe on Oly waterfront and River's Edge at the Tumwater golf course. Both solid established restaurants. I'm hoping for lots of fresh options and looking forward to their oyster bar.

Budd Bay Cafe, worst food poisoning I (and a bunch of other people) ever had. Seafood Jambalaya isn't so good coming back up. The good thing is, after about three days never straying further than about 10 feet from my bathroom, my innards never felt cleaner until my first colonoscopy many moons later.

Went on my first date at the old Oyster House.
I'm not saying it was a loooong time ago, but they were talking about some guy named D.B. Cooper on the TV in the bar  _________________ I always thought growing old would take a lot longer..... So, when does that "Old enough to know better" shit kick in??? I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake. |
