Hey all, I am going out on my first archery hunt this year, well first hunt period . I have a buddy who has been doing it for 7 years and has been doing good, which is who I’m going with . I’m here to get some info on what I should really be carrying in my pack , and what is over kill. I don’t want to buy stuff that I don’t need . I’m also interested to hear what peoples opinions are for a good boot for the PNW. I have everything for my bow and I have my pack picked out. I have been doing research online but I would like local feedback as different regions require different items in one way or another I would imagine . Thanks for the input .

Boots are super important. Dont cheap out. I went to Crispi a few years ago. Couldn't be happier. Not cheap, but quality isnt. I run non insulated. Twice now I wish had some insulation, but those were really adverse conditions, even for where we hunt. Someday I'll get insulated Crispi's, but for 95% of my hunting the uninsulated work perfect.

I went and tried on some crispis GTX a few weeks ago and they were awesome ! 500$ but like you said boots and my pack are two things I won’t skimp on . Pack I’m looking at is like 600$…. But good gear will last me a long time so it’s worth it .

All expensive, but so far is not comparable to any of the lesser expensive discount options. Lighter, better, etc.

Definitely helps me stay out longer.

Hopefully they are comfy enough.
