Well tomorrow starts the quest to top last years 327 ducks shot on our lease.
We averaged 3 hunters per trip, with a few 4 and some 2's.....

The kids went up a week ago and got the blind all dialed in with some killer upgrades.
I am extra excited for tomorrow as my 5 year old grandson will be joining us for the first time.

The Benelli is all lubed, the food is ready and the backpack is loaded....

Let's start it off right.

Wow that's a haul I'm happy with one or 2 when I'm puddle jumping public land cause that's all iv got my best day ever was 2 teal 2 mallard and a pintail between 3 spots. I'll be out tomorrow checking one spot early and scouting for the upcoming trapping season. The cruddy ol mossberg 500 will be enforcing

Decent opener....

We ended up with 19 Ducks.

Can't wait until the migration get revved up...

I just do the cast & blast on the rivers locally.
