New York Deer Hunting

It going good so far. Ed got that small deer on the first day. Then Mel shot a deer on Tuesday the Ed shot a all racked buck shortly afterwards. Yesterday I shot a decent size doe. I'll post pictures later.

You guys are doing better than my daughter and son-in-law this deer season. They are seeing Elk during deer season and deer during Elk season.

It started raining here at 11am.
Mel & Ed will be back at the hunting camp here shortly from visiting the Statue of liberty. If tomorrow is dry they might have a chance at another deer.
They head back there on Tuesday so I won't get any deer hunting in with my brother until Wednesday or after.
We have been trying to get them some deer.

We have the doe I shot to finish cutting up tonight and get frozen for them to take back with them. It is all off the bones and ready to cut into steak-cube meat and ground venison.
When they go back I'll start making venison jerky to bring back.

Ed &Mel went to Syracuse today to visit a friend of theirs this afternoon.
Ii went hunting this afternoon and my brother shot a nice spike buck. We will see what tomorrow brings.
We will start the day with breakfast at the Greene Rod & Gun c Club. We will take some venison snack sticks and venison jerky to share.

Yesterday was another good day out in the woods.y brother got a nice doe about 3pm. We will quarter it up Saturday morning and will be giving it to a friend from Manhattan.

So what are you guys all done for this year? Lotta venison in the freezer, good on ya!

Ed got two, Mel got one, Jim got two and I got two.
The end of the season is this coming Sunday and i head bak to Arlingtonon Wednesday.
Ill probably buy a ice chest and bring a bunch of venison back with my. Plus Mason got a turkey when i had him back here in October that I need to bring back for him.
We have been seeing lots of deer and turkeys.
On an average day we will see close to twenty deer.
