The kid wanted to go out to fish in the back yard lake tonight. He ended up landing more, but I got the biggest of the day with a 2.3 lb bigmouth.... He caught 5 bass, 2 Blue Gill and a big Crappie. I only landed 1 other bass and a bluegill. Saturday we had a contest. I beat him with 9 vs 7. We have been doing good with throwing senkos and the occasional troll across the lake with rapalas. He also caught a large bullfrog today on a little frog tonight. We also have an Osprey that was fishing on the lake.

I like them on a sandwich with some cheddar and good tarter as well. Lucky guy to have a nice little lake so close to home!

This weekend our friend came over with his daughter. She slayed them all day making her dad very jealous when she landed a 3.2 pounder. So far our biggest have been in the 2.5 lb range.
