I love it when they do this deal! I did this with the Maxim a few years back and got an Octane9 for FREE (I had to pay tax stamp). The wait was very long because of the massive amount of people who took advantage, SiCo didn't have all those free cans on hand, so they had to do some phased production runs. Then, the stamp wait started.

And they are saying that this time products will ship within six months. SilencerShop already has many of the $599 and up suppressors in stock.
Doesn't look like silencershop has much left in stock for the silencerco promo.
Here’s two screen shots showing some of their current stock. At this moment they have 2,015 unassigned SilencerCo silencers and 227 SilencerCo receivers.

If one were planning on getting a 5.56 suppressor, which would you recommend? With what's left in stock I'm thinking I might be better off going YHM, and then just doing a form 1 for 22lr.

I'd ask more questions before making any reccomendations.
What's it going on? What are you planning to do with it? Are there any other silencer mfgs that you're currently using? What other calibers do you want to suppress?

It would be mostly for ARs. I have a griffin optimus that covers most calibers smaller than 45, but I mostly use it for 9mm and 300 blackout.

OK.
If you'd prefer a true 5.56 can and aren't as interested in the BOGO, I've heard great things about the Griffin Reece 5. https://www.silencershop.com/griffin-armament-recce-5.html However, Surefire has plenty of options as well and they are in stock with Silencer Shop, if you're interested in getting a Surefire.
If you want the BOGO, the Omega 300 is good choice and weighs about as much as the Reece. You could buy and change out the front cap on the Omega 300 for a .223 and chase down the decibels. Of course there is also the Hybrid 46 which gives you a broader range of calibers and will weigh more. If you ever decided to get a 8" 458 SOCOM and wanted to suppress it, the Hybrid 46 is your champion. https://www.silencershop.com/silencers/silencerco-hybrid-46.html
