I finally had an opportunity to go shoot the 1911 Dana fixed up for me. The trigger is super crisp and breaks like a thin pane of plate glass. Before, I felt as if there were some issues which is why my intuition told me to have it checked out. Dana was fantastic at keeping me informed with picture proof of what he was doing, why he was doing it, and what the previous smith did to the trigger parts that were dangerous. I believe the trigger pull was a bit lighter prior to Dana doing work, but I was okay with a nice and crisp 4.5lb pull. Today, after two hundred rounds, the pull and reset of the 1911 has made it again my most favorite pistol in my collection. Now to just getting her looking pretty again....
A big thanks to Dana and the work was definitely worth every penny! Thank you!
