AR Gas Rings. Are they still in spec?

Yesterday I was asked if I could make a video that explains how to check your AR's gas rings. Thanks for technology (iPhone and Instagram) I was able to put one together in a couple takes.

The person that requested the video was doing nearly the same test. The only difference is that he was telling people to let it stand extended and if the carrier fell, the rings were worn out. The bolt carrier group in both of their videos is assembled.
