Post subject:  Transfers

Starting July 1st 2019, I will not transfer any items that fall under the WA definition of assault rifle or anything else that requires me to collect a fee for the state aside from taxes. Myself and many others spent time/resources on fighting against this BULL CRAP 1639 and will not have any part of facilitating it.

Transfer fee: $20
If you have multiple items, as long as they all fit on one form it's $20.
Don't forget that I must collect Use Tax if it's coming from an FFL.

I do not accept debit cards, PayPal, or any other e-currency. Cash or checks only.

Please contact me before you finish your online transaction, make sure a signature is required, and let me know so that I can make sure your items arrive and are secured. You don't want your items being left on my porch. It's happened.

If you need a person-to-person transfer, please contact me prior to make an appointment. I do not accept walk-ins. Please do not open carry rifles or open hand carry a pistol onto the property. Gun socks, pocket carry, cases, and holstered firearms are very much appreciated.

I am required to follow all, state, federal, and local laws.

Nice. thumbsup

Just to be clear . . . are you talking about internet sale transfers only? Not person-to-person transfers?

Actually, yes. I was only talking about internet sales and was not thinking about specifically addressing person-to-person sales. I'll update it to address that.

UP-DATE bump.

I am not facilitating any transfers that fall under 1639's so called assault weapons and collecting fees for the state of WA.

I’m so sorry that it has become so onerous that good guys like you suffer.

It sucks for all of us. We’re all the good guys.

I can still acquire firearms for my FFL without paying the state a fee but, if I want something for myself that falls under 1639 garbage, I still have to pay the fee.
