I have been getting some inquiries as to my training and experience with the 1911 platform.
I was trained to work on 1911's by Richard Neimer, starting in 1987. Richard was a pistolsmith with Detonics of Seattle in the 80's and 90's, and was the Chief Pistolsmith for Safari-Arms - Schuetzen Gun Works when he passed a few years ago.
Have been building, tuning and carrying 1911's for over 30 years. Have tuned a few 1911's for a few folks on here and other forums over the years.
