Re-mocked up the '23 model t go-cart(super light, 60hp flathead ford) today, this time the body is solid and i'm putting it on axles. i have 3 model t hot rod projects in my shop. This one i just need on wheels so i can move it aside.

BTW 1" Styrofoam insulation under 3/8 ply does a far job at insulating.

Yeah. This isn’t an optional thing.

Its an on going , never ending project , a couple hours at a time. Using steel pallet racking beams for the posts has been a little bit of a challenge versus using pressure treated 4x4 wood posts. Welding up my my own gate frames proved I need lot more time practicing - 16'+ of rolling gate and 2-4' swing gates.

This is super redneck, even for me...

I need to o take a buddy who was paralyzed in a snowmobile accident over to idaho, my truck needs a clutch.

So a little redneck ingenuity, and presto! I also "fixed" the air conditioner....
Had a little bearing failure on my shake down run, but all is well I think now, wish me luck today!

Wow!

I think I would have rented something, since I’m not so creative. :wink05:

Good luck on your trip, and HUGE props to you for helping your buddy!

Praying for safe travels! :thumbsup2:

Should be fine. Your chances of getting RocketScotted over the pass are 60%, max.
