So I removed the tape and here is how it looks

I see what you’re saying. The right side looks great! The left side looks good too, and I’d consider leaving it if rework is too difficult or will mess stuff up.

The left side, at least forward of the pistol grip things look uniform, parallel, and horizontal. Maybe a few more random angles ...and black. Not a critique by any means looks awesome. Just an observation compared with the rest of the theme.
Pro tip: Cerakote King of Tacoma for barreled action and hardware? More of a shameless plug than pro tip actually.  _________________ I always thought growing old would take a lot longer..... So, when does that "Old enough to know better" shit kick in??? I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake. |

Nice work! Don't forget the yellow/black strat, too! My fave is the white/black, with 6-screw trem (pre-FR) and ceramic mag HB (SD pre-"Custom"?).
