I was asked to put a slide show together showing photos of my oldest son and his fiancee' as they grew up, and finally met in 9th grade of high school. This vid will be shown at the reception. They are now 24 and 25 years old and getting married in August. They bought a house together last year, after dating more or less since 9th grade.
The video is 6:40min long with two songs they picked out. The opening photo is artwork my sister Deb did for a card.
Let me know what you think?

As a former mobile DJ who has done hundreds of wedding receptions over a 23 year long career and has seen his share of montage videos, I would say you absolutely nailed it.
Well done.

Thanks fellas. Deleted video as I had to make some photo request changes by mothers. I will update it the link soon. Mothers of weddings is why I didn't professionally shoot weddings more than a couple times as my stint as a professional photographer as a side business.... there was always ONE picture you missed doing a wedding and they'd let you know!

Thank you Sparky! I was probably a wedding crasher if those receptions were done locally in the Seattle area! LOL! Ahhhh, the 80's ...wine wimmin' and song!

Typically 80% of the vids/montages I do are funeral related. Everyone of them brought tears to my eyes, both related and 3d party.
It was refreshing to do one that had to do with celebration of FUTURE life, and of course, the tears shed more than usual as it's my first born son.
Funny, in his senior year I'd lost all hope as he was skipping classes, smoking mary jane, barely graduated, turned down a full ride in college as a lacrosse athlete (he said "I want to work with my hands, dad!") Today 6 years later, he is a HVAC Maintenance tech for Boeing facilities.
So proud of this oldest who I thought was gonna be a loser. Wife always had confidence in him even when I did not..... He and his future wife are God loving, 2nd amendment conservatives and I believe they will change the course of America future for the postive.
