Any kits to recommend? Looking to do something a hair over 2Ox2O.
Also i'm guessing if i dont attach it to the ground, i dont need a permit since it isnt a fixed structure? Hell, i'll even add wheels and a trailer hitch and call it a trailer, if that is what it takes to get around dealing with the government.

If you don’t attach it to the ground, it might become a big kite.

But honestly i figure some old scrap engine blocks and ratchet straps should handle that even in my windy area. If it does carry it off, someone will be gifted a couple horribly cracked flathead fords, a pair of sbc's and a ohv firebird straight 6.

All of them just use some re-bar cane bolt configuration that go through the bottom rail to hold em' down. And they're all pretty simple assembling the kits. Couple guys and ladders should be a few hours in an afternoon.

Ground anchors do not equal permanent structure.

I have used all the brands that I find for $500 or less on internet used ads.
The last one has purlins/skipsheet structures so the sheets run top to bottom like a normal building.
I like it much better. The snow and debris slides of fit better too.

Pour 2 concrete strips (12" wide x6" deep x20') and secure it to that so that it's level and tied down. Or go crazy and pour 4' tall walls to erect the carport on top of and and build a storage loft inside it.

They are easy to assemble and disassemble if you have the help to do so , depending on how tall you go 12' legs with truss is what I did and it's not easy to stand them up but doable . We used 3 people . I bought 12" sono tube and went 3' deep and put one in each corner and center span on each wall and it is not going anywhere . Very cheap, used 21 bags of quick crete and a few sono tubes . Just shoot in your finish grade on whatever you do.

Lots of them at auction either through freight sales or companies going out of business - some even use auction sales as a means of distribution. I'd check out Ehli Auctions in Tacoma and Ritchie Bros down in Centralia. They actually have quite a few. The 20x15s usually go for about $1500-$2K
