Name That Tool

Mon Feb 27, 2017 3:33 pm

Do you have a tool that you either never knew what it was, or forgot what it is?
Post it up here and we'll take a crack at it.

I have tended to collect tools, especially old ones. My wife is emptying my workshop out so I am being asked about things that I may have collected pre-Alzheimers.

I've held on to most of the tools that appear to be made out of a good quality steel for blacksmithing projects.

I'll start the show.

See the compound leverage? ... The thing was designed for serious pinching/gripping action. Z66, you're a tougher man than I am.

This one is a bit different... Obviously home brewed.
Both motors are single phase, and both have reversers.
I bought it for a project with the gearhead motor with reverser, but have hesitated to cannibalize it because the guy selling it said an old gunsmith owned it.

This dog polisher was apparently not meant to be wielded upon an Ovcharka.
My dog is none too fond of you or me right now Jim.

That's a lot of motor for the size of your chuck, Chuck.
