All we need to do is get one of you northerners with a pickup/trailer and the willingness to distribute the goods and we can get this done.
What we don't want happening is for 1500 or more pounds of slabs to head out to some remote spot and the other recipients to be left scratching their collective head about how to make it work.

If someone who could distribute shows up this coming weekend we can load that truck up.

I'm good from Vancouver to Bellevue.
My trailer is limited to 750 lbs. The truck limited to 1 ton.

I'd like pick of the litter though, for fuel spent.

So what's the consensus on delivery and meet up. I can work as a clearing house for the north end guys' stuff. I'm in Kirkland.

Regarding flattening set ups :
My two side rails are 10' back to back Unistrut with a piece of 3/4" plywood on the insides. The Unistrut rails are spread out to the needed width and checked for rough level. The only time that I really tried to dial in the rails tight was for a series of conference table builds for a fancy company. They weren't that big of a business, but man they had bucks and they worked in a shiny office building. They wanted their slab conference table to shine, but bring a bit of nature in there.

Here's the closest to what I use... Simple!

Uni-strut!

That's a pretty slick set-up. I may have to upgrade my router selection.

I'll check with the Dread Princess - I know she has me scheduled to be harnessed up for a trot into town early next week.

My Tuesday is busy until into the afternoon. The Dread Princess already has the day booked, and I will be wearing a spiked leash (spikes facing inwards!) and cannot break her schedule that day.

Is anyone else available to pick up the load for the whole group today or tomorrow?

I am moving into a new house along with retiring.
I can see one of these being a great project to do over the winter, keeping me busy while I forget how to go to work.
Hmm, it'd make a great tv / sound system table...

Tell me how much!

Jim can grab a slab & get it to me when he is here to work on my bathroom.
