I'm "converting" a 5X8 utility trailer into a mini camper. For my electrical/solar system I plan to run the wires between the battery box (outside) to the inside of the camper. I bought one of those outlets you see on a regular camper that your 30/50 amp cord comes out for my electrical system as the pass through. The hole required is a 2.xx inch. Not 2.5, or 3 inch but a weird diameter. I need to cut the hole through the VERY thin aluminum skin of the trailer. Instead of buying a hole saw for one use, can someone suggest a way to create a hole for the wiring of the battery to the interior? Silicone glue will seal any gaps reducing the need for an exact size. Don't want to buy a hole saw to drill a hole that I will never have to use again.
Tools available:
Rechargeable drill with bits to 1/4"
5.5" Circular saw
Scroll saw

Ideas?

a 3 or 4 inch cut off saw. HF has them cheap in electric or air powered versions

Yes I'm working on the wiring. I just wanted to hook it up to make sure it was working.
Stove will be stored under the bed frame.
Terlit is the out house at the campground (or lugable loo if at a non-established campground)
Kitchen is the picnic table.

The Gf picked one up a free horse trailer and is looking to do the same.

BTW a general rule of thumb is anything that will cut wood will do just as good of a job on alum. I worked at a shop doing storefront aluminum windows and doors. All alum with hand routers and jigs for the latches, etc. I also worked at a hot rod shop that made a lot of custom parts with routers. Anouther weld shop i worked at put heavy slitting saws in 4" grinders to do the same work as grinding disks do on steel

Helps to have more teeth (on the saw blade...) to get a clean cut

For a 7.25" skilsaw I normally use a 24 tooth for framing but a 60 tooth carbine blade for cutting Al. Can't remember how many teeth are on the 10" and 12" but it's more than the wood blades. Write "Aluminum" on the blade in sharpie, once you use it for Al it doesn't cut wood as well
