How did you get the edge like that?

Rubber form liners. I think I bought mine on ebay for the kitchen countertops at the last house

Damn Red,
I've been watching this from the get go. I hope you built it stout enough! Wouldn't want it to flutter in the breeze. Seriously, that is some major league design, engineering and construction. It's a work of art that will function practically for as long as you need it. Very impressive.

Jacket/hat/purse rack for the front door. Wife got tired of my hats and long sleeve shirts everywhere and told me to build something. Now she wants a shelf over it also.
Edge glued plank (stair tread riser from Lowes) with 1/2" round stock cut at 15 degrees and drilled/glued. I should have built a jig for the drill instead of free handing it, there are a couple that aren't quite the same angle as the others.

Needed to set the front bearings on the boom truck. I had a dial indicator but no base

So I made one:

Nice setup Scott! Is bearing end play so critical, you need a dial indicator?

Probably not. There are only six slots and two holes for the cotter pin so it's not like it can be precise

I just wanted to get it a close as possible for peace of mind. I've spent more than a thousand bucks and countless hours rebuilding all this
