Built a bumper. Found a similar design online for the inspiration. Cut the supports out of 1/4" steel on the laser at work and rolled the 1-1/4" tube. Welded and painted this afternoon, just finished bolting it in.
Nice job, that looks Factory!

^ Nice work with the tool rack. How is the rebar held into the 2x6? Just sitting loose in a hole, or fastened in somehow?
3/8" hole , rebar is hammered in. Definitely not loose
nice, might try this too, was thinking of mushrooming the head for the back
Home depot sells 80d (?) Nails , timberspikes etc. Tbeyre about .75 ea. If you want a cleaner look. I built a rack for power cords and airhoses once using them. Went with rebar this time due to the quantity , think it was $10 for 2 10' sticks.

installed 10/20/30/60 minute fan timers in the bathrooms, motion/occupancy sensor light switches in the hallway, garage and pantry, time programmable switches for front and back porch lights sick and tired of bitching at the kids for not turning off lights and fans. porch light switches were more for me, now i don't have to remember to turn on and off

"proof of concept". Now I need to make another 20' of them to cap the firepit. Hardieplank siding for the forms, same as the siding used on the post wraps and roof fascia. Needs to be a little wetter next time to fill the voids better

That's one way. I put motion sensors so things turn on when the kids walk by (30 sec - 2 min shut off depending) so now there's no switches for the kids to leave on.
