+1 for the solid tire

I have a hand truck I bought at Costco in the mid 90s. I only used it 2-3 times a year, storing it outside most of the time. The tube tires got more and more leaky to the point that I decided to shop for a new one. Home Depot had a decent selection, but not the style i wanted and pretty expensive. They did have a solid tire replacement kit. It was much cheaper and easy to install. I wish I had done it years earlier.

When you are doing the belt or strap trick take the valve core out and just use your air coupler directly on the valve stem.

That’s a must for car tires, and I should have mentioned it. However for small wheelbarrow tires I have had good success just leaving the core in

I use the goo. Can't leave weight on the tire. My wagon gets stored sitting up on edge so no weight on wheels. They have held pressure for months.

If left sitting with weight they go flat in a week.

Going for solids next time. I want the wagon ready to work when I need it.

Same goes for the garden tractors' dump trailer. I move a lot of firewood in the dump trailer (a lot for us anyway).
