My 2017 Kawasaki Versys 300X could use a service as well but the local dealer wants almost $400 for a service.

If you guys were further south I'd say bring them over
MC maintenance isn't complicated, one of the things I love about bikes. Change the oil, lube the chain, bleed the brakes. Not much to them
I just went through my R1 a few weeks ago since it had been a while. Even though it's more technologically advanced there's no carbs to sync or points to gap. Going through my old Kawasaki takes way more time and special tools
