So for the first time since we started this, I won't be out there. Fiancee is coming out to OK. Let's just say "priorities". Also, let it be known you haven't seen the last of me!

So where and when is this event?

Here's the invite from this year's event: https://waguns.org//viewtopic.php?f=142&t=95688

Basically, it's at the Evergreen Sportsman Club in Chehalis on New Year's Day. Lots of good food, lots of cool guns, lots of good conversation. We drive almost three hours there & back to go each year. Well worth your time.

That is the 2019 shoot.

Where is the 2020 shoot?

The 2020 shoot will be in the same place as the 2018 shoot. And the 2021 shoot.

Evergreen Sportsmens Club

Well...as for me, I'll be in the same place I am every NYE...

..."And, the wheels are coming off in 3...2...1..."

Usually, the handcuffs are coming off my belt within 5 minutes of the New Year coming in.

You guys pop some caps for me, eh? Be safe out there.

Just yesterday I was thanked for my service.

Well, yours is a different kind of service, but I want to say thank you nonetheless.

MyNameIs940 and I will both have our M203s. We talked this morning and agree that $10 is fair if someone wants to lob a chalk round

They’re $15 each commercially (if you can find them) but we’ve purchased components separately to get the cost down

Post subject:  Re: New Years Shoot 2020 -- What do you want to try?

I might finally make it this year. I hope. Better chance this year than last when I spent New years in the Hospital and had Open heart surgery on the 4th of Jan. Missed you all.

If I make it I would be glad to bring my Black Powder Inline for Snoz to shoot. I have some bullet supplies to burn off from a fellow Wagunner anyway.
Sinus I'll bring my M1 Carbine. It's not a WWII collectables but instead one of those put together from parts left over from WWII and Korea. I'll even bring the US military ammo I have!

Also, if someone is interested I can also bring my Ruger Super Blackhawk in 30 Carbine.
I have a Remington 742 in 30-06 if someone wants to shoot something out of the ordinary. (What makes it special is it has a left handed stock on it. Can be shot right handed too.) i might dig up the original scope for it and mount it back on. (BTW if someone thinks they might want to buy/trade for this it's been a safe queen since I got it and I don't think it's going to get used for what was originally planned.)
Have a few others but will wait to see if there is interest.
