Would you shoot this stuff if you did? I wouldn't. I have a lot of ammo, but this amount of .50 cal sounds strange even for me. We shoot 200 rounds per soldier every month. 24X200=4800 rounds minimum, lots of time it's even more depending on the number of soldiers. Fucking stop it right now. Bobbity is a brother. Some of us know him personally, and have for years. Me, I'd trust the man completely. He is salt of the Earth. This thread is about what some shitbags have done to him, what they've taken, and where we go from there. Helping him, if we can. I don't know who the fuck YOU are, but you need to stop immediately.

Having a shit ton of ammo is the American Dream, the American Way, the American Right of Ownership.
I know guys who shoot long range 20mm with more ammo than that by round count - ALSO LEGAL TO OWN.
I know guys who shoot more than that round count of 50 cal at any one single full auto shoot in a single weekend.
All 50 cal. - AP, tracer, APIT, Raufoss, et fucking cetera, is available, and legal to purchase on the market all day long.

We would burn through 2,500 rounds of M33 ball at Saddle Butte without breaking a sweat. And that was before the Raufoss came out to play. Bang Bang. Simmer down Col Klink.

Guys, aside from the burglary, the other aspect of this thread is, worst case, a misunderstanding. Sad to see somebody flamed, especially when a PM, might have been a better way to handle things. Hope we can stick together and not eat our own. I've got my asbestos shorts on, bring it if you must, but I've said my piece.

I built a pair of 50's back in the mid 1990's. I always figured the availability of ammo would be in question, eventually. So, I stocked it up whenever I could. It's always been my goal to see that my sons and grandchildren had the option of arming themselves if necessary. I also used much of it as an addition to my retirement. Nothing illegal anywhere in my pile. everything was purchased legally, as often as not from dealers. A lot of it would be verboten on most public ranges, but I quit going to those 15 years ago. Wait til Chuck finds out I had a few hundred guns at one time.

Good to see the classy are just getting classier. Good on ya Bob for looking out for you and yours. More people that did that, the less they'd be in other people's shit. I hope those crooked fucks are caught and strung up.
