Sorry to hear what happened.

Do you remember where you purchased the handguns? They should have records with serial numbers.

The one photograph is an 80% lower. No serial number and the glock 19 was picked up many years ago off here or Seattle guns as a handshake deal

I have an excel spreadsheet with all my gun data. Anytime it changes I resend it myself, so the info is stored in the cloud.

Trashed it. Took a laptop with a primary weapons sticker on it, glock 19 that I don’t have the serial number for and a glock 17 with 80% lower. They ripped the lock box out of the fucking wall! The 17 is pictured down below.

Was the lock box concealed, or openly visible?

The problem with being on social media, is that you know too many people that you don't know.

Joy is not a feeling. It is a strength. Some people are stupid, that's all there is to it. (And sometimes that stupid person is me/you.) Sometimes you just have to let stupid people be stupid. Don't let stupid steal your joy.

Holding onto unforgiveness and resentment is like drinking poison and expecting that other person to die. Anger will eat you up.

I have pics and of all my guns and a spreadsheet of all the SN's, keep them on my laptop and phone.
Wouldn't trust that info to the cloud, but that's just me.

Have a client who is doing Mozy cloud backups, good backup every night, and they haven't paid for their subscription in 2 years.
I told them they are probably being investigated by the IRS.

The lock box was concealed with clothing. Hard to keep serial numbers when they steel the laptop. I took photos of al the firearms and ammo I have tonight. Will email them to myself later.

I was just wondering if it was someone that knows you.

If it was hidden, its more likely the case...

That and the fact that they knew there was something worth stealing.

I would assume wherever you bought the ffl items, they'd still have the serial numbers on them. If you bought the pistol from a private party, they may still have the serial number.

Where are you located? City, I mean.

Contact your neighbors as they may have cameras or have noticed something.

I disagree. Crooks are now looking EVERYWHERE! Air vents, clothes pockets, kitchen cabinets, freezers, etc. Learned from a police officer that crooks are getting pretty good at finding stuff.

A lock box behind some clothes in a closet is easily found.

Whoever did this does not know me, if they did, they would know where to look. They took random things. Left the shotgun, but took the lock box. Took all my prescriptions and candles. This is a druggie, 100%

Sounds like they were on foot or bike and only took what could fit in a backpack.

Did they kick in the front or back door? I learned that's how they usually do it. So the police recommended replacing the OEM door hinge screws and the doorjam screws (1/4") with really long 3" decking screws. The 1/4" screws are easily torn through when they kick the door open.
