As title says, I am trying to free float my Colt A4 barrel with a quad picatinny rail handguard, and keep the A2 style front sight post. However, I can't find any handguards (with included barrel nut) that fit all these criteria (not any in stock anyway, and from reputable manufacturers that aren't UTG/Leapers). Any product suggestions?
PS. Not sure if this was the right section to put this in, but this seemed closest.

I think the length needs to be around 12" Not sure if this one will work at 12.625". Seems like an odd size unless it was specifically designed to fit behind the rifle length FSP https://lanbosarmory.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=107&products_id=54490

The one I posted above is meant to be installed without removing the front sight base. It uses the factory barrel nut but does require the Delta ring to be cut off. It is a 2 piece part to accomplish this. The length is 12.5" which leaves room for the front handguard retainer to remain in place. The one posted by RocketScott is longer to fill the gap where the handguard retainer would have been. It requires the removal of the front sight base and replacement of the factory barrel nut. The rail itself is one piece. Colt front sight base taper pins can be very difficult to remove. Choose the setup that works best for you.
