I’ve been messing with axes for the past year.
Here is a pre 1956 Plumb hatchet. I was able to save the original handle.
True Temper Tommy Axe on a 19” California framing hammer handle.
And finally the elusive Kelley Perfect, Jersey pattern with phantom scallops.
Maybe I should have posted this in the DIY section

Those look pretty nice. Good job.
It gets way worse! Your pile will just keep growing!
I have over 200 nice vintage axes over here. My favorites are the Puget Sound falling axes, Cruiser axes, Undercutters and Swamping axes. I have one bedroom that is stacked full of axes, old climbing gear and other logging related tools and such.

Looking good. Are you just hand sanding the barrel or do you have a jig/lathe for turning it?

First I think you mean 115 grain.
Second - I am quite surprised at the velocity results. To the point of trying it again.......so weird two (yeah the Wolf is misfire master)......just seems odd the Blazer is slow too
Third - S&B at the prices now is an amazingly good deal
