I JUST started looking for someone on the Kitsap Peninsula, but in the meantime figured I'd ask the brain trust here:

Picked up this Rossi Overland from Dad's estate. The right barrel is separating from the "rail" between the two barrels. Might be hard to see in pics, but wondering if it is even worth pursuing a repair? Possible?

Ouch.

I have no idea what it takes to repair it . . . but a quick search gave me this:
https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/1961370

If that barrel fits, then for the price it's probably not worth your time or hassle to repair the old one.

Nice! I hadn't even made it to the Google machine yet.

Seems like a fair price to bring the shotgun up to "sellable" condition.

Thanks!

That would need clamped up and re soldered..around a 300$ job before refinish..Buying a replacement barrel is the way to go.

Why bother and just price it for the replacement on sale?

So if you have a price in mind factor in the buyer buying his own new barrel into the new price and list it.

But if you want maximum return on saleā€¦ and go through buying replacement barrel and then list. Sure.

All great advice. Thank you.

I'm not inclined to hang onto it. I'll do some more googling and see what pans out.
