I have a Winchester 92 I need the barrel swapped Someone in the past shortened the original barrel where it threads to the receiver and did not get it on correctly so the sights are off to one side. Anyone have any advice on how to remove it. I found a nice original replacement on eBay. The rifle functions fine as is but awkward to shoot with the sights off center. Any local gunsmiths you would suggest in the Everett area. I found this YouTube video but it doesn’t show how to replace the barrel. Thanks for any advice.

Tom Ryder (WaGuns member tpryder) would be my go-to in that area.

It is possible that the barrel does not need to be replaced, just removed and have a few thousandths taken off the shoulder to allow it to clock correctly.
