Ever do a Mosin Nagant?

So I haven't had any work done by Groovit yet but I have seen his work in person when I did some work for someone else. I'm going to go ahead and say WOW! This guy does AMAZING work. I thought the stock and forend were hi end wood and brand new until the guy told me he had Groovit refinish it for him. So here is a big +1 for Groovit and the quality of his work.

I have done one laminate Mosin and I must admit laminate is not my favorite for refinish just because you cannot repair deeper scratches and gouges without cutting through layers and ruining the laminate profile. I unfortunately do not have final pictures on the Mosin. It cleaned up real nice and I imparted some nice red coloring to it as well as cleaning up the native stamping marks. The finish is fairly hard once cured and this helped the soft ply. I did leave many of the scratches into the wood after sanding out what I could but it did not look bad.
