This pistol is a great firearm, however it consistently shoots just left of the target, even when sandbagged. Is there any way a gunsmith can correct the rear site on this pistol or do I have to go to an aftermarket adjustable? I'd prefer to keep it stock! A close up (stock photo from innnernets) and my photo attached.

The rear sight can be drifted to the right. Personally, I like my sights to be centered in the dovetail and like the bullet to strike where I'm aiming. I'd replace it with something adjustable.

Yes, an adjustable sight is nice . . . but if all you want to do is move the point of impact to the right, then I would just drift the existing sight to the right a bit.
"Drift" is just a fancy work for "whack." You can do this with a sight tool if you have access to one, or you can do it with a hammer and punch as long as you're careful. It's best to use a brass punch to minimize any marring you might get on the sight.

Sorry I wasn't more specific in my first post....Thanks Steve I use a nylon tipped punch for moving sights that I can't use my sight tool on. Sometimes, they are very tight in the dovetail and a brass punch works best. Brass will leave marks on the finish somewhat, so I place a strip or two of vinyl electrical tape on the area where the punch will be used to keep the brass from transferring to the finish. Good luck!
