Wanting to have the slide for my 1911 nickel plated. Can't find someone out here so I'm looking for info. Duracoat and ceracoat are temporary fixes, I want something much more permanent. I am tired of the scuffs and scratches that keep popping up.

I do know this is an old post, but Art Brass in Seattle does nickle and black nickle plating on firearm components. They have a great eye for quality.
