Hey guys, I've been out of the hobby for a while and I am in need of someone to reblue a older 270 for me. My grandfather gave it to my father 40 years ago and it's been neglected for a long time. I doubt it'll ever be fired again but I know he'd love to see it looking right again. If you know of someone that's reasonable or if you have a link, please let me know. Thanks Doug

I can't help with that, but i wondered what happened to you. You still work in the same place in Renton?

Talk to TINCANBANDIT, he's our local bluing master. If he can't do it, he may know somebody who can.

Casey Birchwood makes a product called Super Blue. Works pretty good if you're into DIY.

Definitely talk to TINCANBANDIT. He just did a rifle for me and it turned out great.

Been using it for years.
Great for touchups, but don't think I'd try doing a whole gun with it.

I did refinish a gun with it once and won't do it again. It turned out real blotchy and wore through rather quickly.
