So I have a Stainless 1911 Commander slide I'd like to darken for that two tone look. From what I understand cold bluing won't work. So thoughts on how to blacken or darken |

Amazon sells Caswells blackener. Google for hints on how to best use it. Your slide would need to be completely stripped. |
