I've got a broken Harrington & Richardson "Defender 38" that needs repair. The firing pin broke off the hammer and needs to be fabricated and re-pinned in (see pics).

Larry Conley gave it a try but couldn't find the part anywhere. So now I need someone who can make a replacement.

Any suggestions? (I've used CaR in the past but hate the drive down 405 to get to them.)

BUMP. It's still busted. Would like someone local.

That's a pretty easy fix. I could repair the existing hammer. Have you tried sending a PM to tpryder here on the boards? He's an FFL/Gunsmith in Lake Forest Park. You could take it to him and I'm sure he could handle it and I could lend a hand if needed.
