Hello friends!

I am currently looking for a place in the National Forest near Monroe Wa for target shooting practice (free). Any suggestions and directions would be appreciated.

Welcome. There are some places. Best thing to do is to find someone in the neighbor hood that will allow you to shoot on their land. There are some other spots along various power line clearings and a few pits. But things are fairly limited up north here.
I Know you are looking for free but you might really want to consider joining a range to have a regular place to shoot. Machais let's members shoot most any time out to 200 yards and does have a monthly (most months) 500 yards practice and match. Very hard to find 500 yard shoots this side of the cascades.
A lot depends on what you want to shoot mostly.
BTW if you want to look around Seattle Rifle in Lake Stevens ( that goes for anyone else on WAGuns) shoot me a PM. I would be happy to show you around as a guest. I am allowed to take one guest with me when I shoot so if you are a safe shooter, agree to follow the rules, and willing to cover the $10 fee we can work something out.
Welcome to the area.

You can never be too prepared. Consider the ant thou sluggard.
Proverbs 27:12 -- “A prudent person foresees the danger ahead and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.”
Need Long term Food or Survival Supplies, I have extras, Grab the Supplies_Available.pdf. Prices Quoted are close to my actual cost:

The prudent Wagunner trains and prepares to defend themselves and their families, friends, and neighbors. They also are prepared to feed, shelter, and provide aid as well.
Danger is coming and may already be here, how prepared are you? Click the link above for lots of good info to get started.

I'd better do groceries in Syria than go to Greenwater pit.

“...average citizens only get what they want if wealthy Americans and business-oriented interest groups also want it; and that when a policy favored by the majority of the American public is implemented, it is usually because the economic elites did not oppose it.”

"Because unless you hit something vital, it doesn't matter what you hit them with. You could hit them with a .45 in the shoulder, they're gonna survive. You hit them with a 9mm in the shoulder, they're gonna survive. You hit them with a .22 in the brain they could die. So, stopping a threat really does not come down to caliber, it is shot placement."

Spoiler: show
