Hi all,
I joined this forum while waiting for my background check to clear, and today picked up my first firearm purchase (Glock 19).
History: limited. I've been to the range occasionally over the years, enjoyed it, and did pretty well at hitting what I was aiming at. After browsing and YouTubing and shopping and planning for quite a while what kind of gun I would buy I finally decided it was time to pull... buy one.
I found this place on the Google looking for WA firearms buy/sell.
Thanks

Welcome to WaGuns!
Nice choice for a first gun! Functional, priced reasonable and a great shooter.
Eventually get a holster/case and especially some spare mags before July 1.

Thanks!
Yeah, there's a lot of cool stuff out there, but for me I thought the G19 has a lot going for it: track record, aftermarket, knowledge base, trusted by LE agencies from municipal to federal, etc. i even like the grip angle.
I'm attracted to revolvers, and it makes perfect sense to me that this gun is (and was) the natural successor to the DA revolver.
The LGS where I got this was out of Glock mags but I picked up a couple of off-brand mags for range use.

And as you may already know you can buy Glock 17 and the 33 rounders and it will work on G19.
Is it a MOS version? Can you put a red dot on it?

No MOS. Plain Jane entry level standard slide. I do have a red Sharpie though. Give me a minute....

It's small enough to carry, and large enough to be an enjoyable range gun or an effective home defense gun. I like Glocks in general and I own a few, but the G19 stands out above all the rest.
