I came here for work, and it took me a year to realize I could easily buy a 'pistol' and shoot it. So I've bought it in two halves, waiting for the second half. Then I'm going to get a can. Then lead poising insurance.

I found this place searching for info on where I can shoot - without going into a VERY noisy building. :)

Hope to meet some people I can get along with.

Welcome to the PNW. Glad you got out of California. Seems like a terribly dangerous place. I work for a plumbing supplier, and almost everything I sell has a warning that it can cause cancer in the state of California.

Let's try to keep your expectations reasonable. :ROFLMAO:

Is your new pistol your first gun? Or are you already neck-deep like the rest of us?

Welcome! Hell, you even managed to make an Avatar right away. You are already ahead of a bunch of long time members. :ROFLMAO:

Ha.
It's a FM9, first gun.
I'd like to get concealed carry permit.

I only have the receiver. The upper is 'in the mail'.

I don't know where to go other than a gravel pit SE of Seattle. Found it on google maps.

I'd like to go way out into the backcountry if that's legal.

Well do some scouting before. It’s be closed in the past and I don’t even know the status these days. Very limited open country shooting. It’s tough and typically crowded to a dangerous degree.

Sure hope the Duvall pit isnt closed. I'm planning on going next week, and I've never had any issues with it. I've been gone a year so it's been a while though so will see.

I can imagine.

I'm happy to walk pretty darn far toward boring places. I saw some map of 'no shooting' zones by the DRM, and tried to make sense of the rules but I can only see so much detail on my phone...

Could just go to ID or NV.
