I left California a few years ago because of rising crime and increasingly insane laws and policies coming from Sacramento. I lived in a mostly-sane county: Kern. There a concealed weapons permit can be had on a shall-issue basis, however it still is an expensive process and you have to list on the permit the three guns you wish to carry. Changing this list takes time and money. Ultimately I got tired of this, the shrinking list of handguns I was allowed to choose from at the stores, and limits on magazines and scary eeeevil rifles.
I'm not a Californicator. I don't want my new home to turn into another California. _________________ One famous issue involved the question whether the plumber's FIZMO spell ("cause stopped-up pipes to unclog") could be sold as a digestive aid by physicians. |

 Thanks for the comments about California policy . . . they should serve as a warning about how things could so easily be here in Washington, or even in the whole country. I just can't imagine a may-issue carry permit system. What bullshit. Or having to list the three (or one in some places!) guns you're going to carry. What difference does it make?! Such silliness.
