Hello folks!
I'm currently in California but next year my company will move to the Seattle area and so I will move with the company and become a Washington gun owner/resident. I cannot wait to make the move and enjoy the freedom. Right now I'm here to learn about the laws in WA and how other gun others go about their business.

Are there any trips (business wise or personal) that you plan to make up between now and then? What part of the Seattle area is the business looking to move? We can use all the gun friendly votes up here we can, to prevent WA from following CA's gun control failure.

I'll be up in Seattle 10/7 - 10/9 for pleasure. The business is looking at Capitol Hill but nothing is for certain yet. For my personal residence I'm looking at south of Seattle in the Renton-Tukwila-Burien area although I'm looking at Edmonds as well. E joao01 wrote: JackRydden224 wrote: Hello folks!

Stay away we don't need anymore Californians.
I'm kidding I'm kidding. Welcome to the party. You can ditch your low capacity mags and get standard capacity ones now! As well as no need for ar 15 bullet buttons. And make sure you get your cpl. And please no trying to make our laws more like Cali! Lol I love it here. I transplanted back in 2008 more or less, grew up in the south end of the salinas valley

I moved up from Lodi ca in January. My recommendation when your up here before you move go in to the sheriff's office and apply for a non resident cpl that way you don't have to wait 60 days once your here.
I found this forum before I moved as well and learned a lot. Your going to love it compared to california

Plan on going to the local PD to apply for your CPL (conceal pistol license). No class, just pay fee which includes fingerprinting. As a non resident you can apply for the Washington State CPL at any jurisdiction that takes applications. Quote: Outside of Washington (not a Washington state resident) Any local law enforcement agency in Washington State http://www.dol.wa.gov/business/firearms ... alreq.htmlIf you do apply... call ahead to the city/county PD before you go... some have hours and need for cash versus credit/check. And... Welcome to WaGuns and Washington State! Now - load them mags!

You're off to an outstanding start! Now let's all work together to make sure that WA doesn't go the way of Dumphuckistan.
