I moved here from SoCal two years ago. So far I do most of my shooting at Federal Way discount guns. I shoot either my XD tactical or my XDS both are in 45.

Oh yeah the tactical is a joy to shoot. Especially at night with the streamlight tlr-1 attached.

Nice. Between the long slide and the light, I bet recoil is minimal and you can snap off the shots pretty quickly.

I haven't shot the XD tactical, but I like the feel of the XDM 5.25s. I have a Glock 17L with a TLR-1 on the front. I'd imagine they feel somewhat similar in felt recoil....almost nothing. 9mm feels almost like 22, so I'd bet the .45 feels almost like a 9mm.
