Welcome, Michael! :wavey:

Where do you shoot now, and what kind of guns are you into?

Welcome aboard...

Good places to shoot ??? well, everyone has their favorites..
I go to Federal Way Discount guns for indoor shooting... Tacoma Sportsman's Club for outdoor (as I'm a 2nd year member),,,but there's also an indoor place close to IKEA in Renton, and I just saw there's an outdoor range east of Renton as well... so you have a few options..

Currently I am in between places to shoot. I was driving out to the Issaquah Sportsman Club but I had a bad experience where the range officer yelled at my wife for moving a her purse strap out of the walkway but he ignored others actually going through their bags on the other side of the red line duriglng a cease fire.

Otherwise I haven't been to any other ranges in the greater Seattle area. I want to do more rifle shooting and work my way up to hunting but for now I could use more range time in general.

I live in Covington. I’m a member at Renton Fish & Game Club. Nice ranges.

Renton is pretty good if you're looking to sight in and practice with hunting rifles, but they require only one round in the mag at a time. As you can imagine, not great for those wanting to shoot their AR-15's.

I recommend getting your name on the list for Cascade Shooting Facilities, its a long wait (1.5yrs or so) but it's worth it, and it's just in Ravensdale. The rules are still very much safety oriented but are way less restrictive than other local ranges, and it is less crowded than all other ranges (on most days).
