Hey all,
Still trying to learn as much as possible about firearms. Recently purchased a .22, 9mm, an AR because I think that'll get me pretty well rounded. They're more fun than I expected. :D

Man needs a shotgun or two. And a high powered big game rifle. And a lever 30-30. And a .45. Certainly a Garand and a 1903 Springfield. Keep at it Mario!

Welcome to WaGuns! And welcome to Firearms! If you haven't yet, I highly recommend taking 1 or more safety courses. Even if you know what you're doing, some good safety training will help reinforce the "safety mindset", may introduce you to some things you hadn't thought of, and you might even meet up with some good folks to shoot with and learn from.

Lol yeah I have an itch to get more. :P
Any recommendations on safety courses?
As far as the .22lr I bought a Ruger 10/22 (wood stock) and a Star BM 9mm.
Thinking I may want to go modern and get a S&W MP 9mm.

. Give us a bit more info. Like where you live (city) so it gives folks an idea where to help you. No sense in recommending something in Vancouver if you live in Bellingham. Also what type of course? Just safety? Are you interested in also a cross course that will also qualify for other "state" licenses? Utah, Oregon, etc What's your budget? Course can be $25-$300 Just depends on who, what and where. Simple check of indoor ranges near you may give you a good start. Most have instructors of various types and focus.

Huge duh moment on my part. I'm around the Seattle metro area (north). I was thinking a good CCW/handgun safety course - the cross qualifying one seems pretty interesting. If I recall there's a place in Bellevue or something that does the Utah CPL course right? Then a rifle safety course (because of this backasswards 1639 law).
