Welcome to the forum Brad, glad to have you join us.

The only stupid question is the one you don't ask. Most everyone here is pretty helpful and usually happy to share what we know about the hobby we love.

This and a similar forum that no longer exists were where I gained all of my firearms knowledge over the last several years. It’s an awesome community that is more than willing to go out of our way to help.

Any time you have a Friday free and want to run out to Ravensdale, I’m happy to meet up, shoot, show off a few fun and unique guns and shoot the shit.

You’re exactly the kind of new blood we need around here and in our state!

Great intro thread, Brad! BTW, I'd take Jacy up on that offer. ^

Tell me about it! Over the years, I've been feeling the same thing, stronger and stronger with time. JUST FRICKIN' LEAVE ME ALONE!!

Again, same for me. Well, not since November but since 2008 when Obama was elected. It's been a mad rush of learning, buying, sharing, buying, selling (LOL, just kidding), and buying. Yeah, it's fun and cool on the one hand, but also REALLY freaking aggravating because I feel like I need to buy now, or be happy NEVER owning it. Or, if I can buy it later, it will come at a much higher price.

It's not just the potential legislation, but also the THREAT of legislation. Look at what happened after the Sandy Hook shooting; most ammo was virtually unobtanium, as were reloading supplies. So even if you had a gun and WANTED to shoot, you either couldn't, or you could only do it at a high cost. Total f'ing bullshit.

If you want to buy a couple of ARs on the cheap, while the getting is good, you can buy a couple of lowers for less than $100, and then build them up as funds or needs dictate

Welcome! :wagwoot:

I too want to be left alone. I don't bother anyone and I don't want to be bothered. WA politics have changed that. I can not sit quietly anymore.

Welcome aboard. And yes, I594 was the first of many. I1639 was the second of many. In a year or so, I'm fully expecting bans on standard magazines, 80% lowers, entire platforms of guns, and even more invasive measures thereafter...

I'd suggest you round up all the liberal hippies you can find and turn them into gun-owning or at least freedom loving people, rather than consuming big government zombies.

The fight is here. It's now. It's important.

Welcome! I would describe myself as a libertarian as well. P80 glocks are reasonably easy and p320 80s are coming along.

Any interest in the action shooting sports?

Hi Brad, welcome to the party pal.
It's great that you got onboard with standing up for your rights like all of us freedom loving patriots here.
Please research the real meaning of an assault weapon. :wagwoot:
