Gun advocate from NC here. I like hunting and shooting at the range. Is Washington the same as NC, by that I mean can you shoot outside the city limits or inside it? Is there a law about shooting in areas? Where’s the best places in WA for guns? Im supposed to be moving near the the Canadian border area, pretty much far north. Is there land to hunt or explore? Can someone enlighten me? I’ll take any knowledge of information.

Welcome you`ll be up in Whatcom county I am not sure about the shooting laws up there but I do know they have a few out door spots to shoot and a couple of ranges there. You`ll be about 40 mins north of me in Skagit county we have a shooting pit 5 minutes from my place and one on the other side off the river plus we have the Skagit range. Look forward to more pro 2nd people moving here. What do you like to shoot?

Welcome,
Lots of anti-gun legislators determined to Californicate Washington State right now and some very discouraging bills coming down the pike. Be alert for changing laws soon. It's only going to get worse here if we don't figure out a way to make our voices heard and stop further erosion of our constitutional and God given rights by the leftists.

West of the mountains not a lot of free areas to shoot left as the population grows and grows more socialist. The antifreedom people are REALLY taking huge chunks of our rights.

If you can stay in NC, Stay there. This state is becoming more anti gun with every election. Many are looking for a new place to go now as the wave just keeps coming up from CA.

Seconded. As much as another 2A supporter would be great to have. If you can save yourself the pain and skip coming to Washington, I would recommend doing so.

I could be me and my other half decided on going back to her hometown. We almost zero guns laws it NC it feels like and I would love to stay but it was a mutual decision to go here and I want to help improve the situation as much as I can. Any way to help have a word about these gun laws they are pushing down? I’m aware it’s mostly the liberals in Seattle.

And some of that may be the voice of self-recrimination.... But come along! Get involved!
