new to this site, old to guns

Hello to my new brothers and sisters. I am new to this site, but old (72) to guns. I am selling off most of my guns, as my health is getting me down. For years I built colt 1911's and have a LOT of colt 1911 govn. parts and about 10 to 12 colt gov gun, 1911. And all the tools to build and modifiy colt gov mods. as time go's by I will post here. I live just west of seattle, far enuft to stay out of the roads.

72 . . . yeah, I used to think that was old. Now I'm wiser, and I know that it's not.  I now also realize that guns last a hell of a lot longer than we do, and passing them along to someone who will use them more is a good thing, as guns were meant to be shot, not stored!
