Thanks to Thosk, I have the two full bins of marvelous firearms-related supplies are up for passing on. Will be adding my stash of spares as the week goes on, see below for rules.

Will draw a winner 7/24, unless I need to wait longer for more folks to put their names in the hat.

Open to folks South of King County, I'm based in Olympia but can move a little to meet with you.

To be eligible:
-You must be a site supporter (make the donation before joining the drawing, click on the yellow "Donate" button toward the top of the page).

-You must be willing/able to pick up the box, go through it, add your contributions, post the drawing and get it to the new person within one month (the sooner the better, but if you don't think you can handle the responsibility of doing this in less than 30 days, please don't join the drawing).

-You must log the items you take/add in a notebook found inside the box. For example, "On 2/28/2015, JohnDoe took one AR magazine and put in 5 AK magazines."

-You must add items of equal or greater value than what you remove (this is important to keep the PIF Box interesting/fun/high value).

-You will post “In” AND describe your most favorite firearm.

-You will take the time to skim the notes in the log book AND take the time to help label stuff in the box. (Especially stuff you put in. If its a brace or handle or barrel or holster or whatever, label it clearly or bag it with a label so everyone can figure out what stuff is without playing guessing games.

And thanks for playing!

I'm in, thanks!

My favorite firearms is my Marlin 336SC in 35 Remington. It's not a rare or super valuable gun, but it's the only one I've had handed down to me, so it's my favorite.

In! I really like the Kahr PM9. It’s a striker fired 9mm with a trigger like a smooth DA revolver. There isn’t anything else quite like it.

Gonna have to sit this round out, moving week is the week after you draw a name. I'll be in again on the next one.

IN. I love my first AR build, it’s a pistol cambered in 300BLK with a 10.5” barrel. The lower is an 80% in the raw that was the first that I’ve milled. She’s a great shooter and have had zero problems with the converted cases I’ve loaded.

In.

My favorite is actually a specific SKS that my dad owns. Could not miss with that thing, even though the stock shifted quite easily.

Childhood (teenage) memory of one of my dad's friends shooting a target with his new .308 and then turning around and saying "confetti anyone?"

I had to show him up. Stepped up, shot a smaller paper target that happened to split in half when I did (had been previously shot), and then somehow managed to shooth one of the halves as it was winning in the air! Don't think I could do it again if I tried, but I was able to turn around and ask the same thing!

He put his rifle away and refused to shoot after, though.

“The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles.”
― Jeff Cooper, Art of the Rifle
