Hey fellas, I am looking for some help here. My very good friend is a non member but looking for some help. Long story shortish, this guy was adopted by my buddies sister in law out of some sort of guilt trip deal. Anyway, they are unable to provide a good home for this guy. i have met this young boy, and while excitable, he is very loving and has tons of potential. From what I underdtand they are not looking to sell him, just find a good home for him. What I know. Purebred golden retriever. No papers. He is 9 months old. Also not neutured. Owners are in Sedron-Woolley, depending on arrangements I would be willong to help withthe logistics. Keep in mind, I am handling this 3rd party, but will do all I can to facilitate this and make it jappen. Please pm me, and I will put you in touch with my friend. Thanks a lpt guys, this is a great pup and just needs a new home.

I'm not sure if he is done with all shots. He has had some, he's bot neglected, just owners bit off too much with a young child and a puppy. Not neutured, and not sure about chip, I will look into that. He is a good dog really, just a puppy with lots of energy.

Man, if I had the room, I'd adopt him in a heartbeat!
I hope someone here can do so.

Ok guys, so heres the deal. This thing has taken off way better than anticipates, thanks WGO! The owners however are appearing to not be sure about it all. Of course I am more than a little pissed off about this, after I out this out here and got such a kick ass response. So what im asking is to give me the weekend to get the owners' minds made up what they want to do. After that, I will have to figure out who the lucky new owners are. Which this is my first time facilitating a dog adoption, so bear with me. Several serious people on this handsome pup, all seem to be good homes and great people. Again, i am so sorry that this is happening, but i guess I leanred what happens when you stick your neck out for people, I look like a jackass. I will pm the parties as I find out more.
Thanks Kyle

Thanks Kyle This is a great thing you are doing here. Taking him in has crossed my mind more than a few times today but it looks like he will get a good home. It is unfortunate the current owners have to give him up. This isn't exactly the dog that got left out in the backyard on a chain judging from the photos. I'm sure this is not easy for them either. You in no way "look like a jackass" regardless of how this turns out. If all else fails I would take him in. My only worry would be the wife's asshole weiner dog might abuse him. It looks like he will get or keep a good home either way.

You're doing the right thing, and it's not your fault that the owners are vacillating. Interceding for other folks is always hard, because you never quite know what they're thinking, even when they tell you. Let us know what the outcome is, there are several of us who are eager to hear.
