PIF = Paying It Forward

Typically, a PIF is something that you either don't need anymore, or something that you just want to get rid of that may be of use to others. Since this is a firearms site, most PIF's will be gun related, but it doesn't have to be.

How a PIF generally works is that you post up the item you are looking to give away and set your terms. It can be like a raffle with a set contest date, or just a first one to say they will take it, takes it. It is fully up to you to set the terms. Feedback can be given if you wish to show the rest of the community the giving nature of the person.

If you have a PIF as a contest, with multiple entries, I use a site; http://www.Random.org. It allows you to put in peoples names, then it mixes it all up. The #1 spot is the winner :-bd .

The great part about the PIF is that it what it stands for: A winner of a PIF should try and find something, anything to "Pay it Forward" in return. This is not a requirement, but just good ju-ju.

It's also a good way for members to meet and grow our community. cheers2

So fellow WaGunner's... PIF on I say, PIF on!

Thanks to all of the members for making this site what is has become in such a short time.
