Hey guys and gals, here is a older but pretty well kept portable computer. Along the way, I've replaced the hinges, flourescent light, and wireless card.
It's not the fastest horse on the track, but it can get the job done. ***NOT a gaming computer!!!
This is a good computer for e-mail and basic web surfing. It's been an unused back up computer for a few months, so it's time to go.
HDD has been completely wiped, and a fresh install of XP home has been installed.
IE 8 and Avast anti-virus installed. Will come with OEM XP disc, and install code. Also has drivers for wireless card in a folder in MyDocuments.
Known issues-has two USB ports, only one works. Has CD read only drive that does not work, but that's ok because it has a removable DVD rom drive that works fine. Also comes with other swappable drives, like floppy drive and another CD drive. Also comes with a total of four batteries, but I cannot attest to their functionality.
