Click here to see the opening statement about the fundraiser:
Spoiler: show
The anti-freedom maggots in our state are at it again, this time with Initiative 1639 which will be on the ballot in a few short weeks. This initiative will infringe on our rights in many different ways, and of course will do absolutely nothing to make our state safer.

We need to fight this, defeat I-1639 and push back the maggots or we will be well on our way to becoming California.
You can find more information at either of the following sites:
NRA: https://www.initiative1639.org
Save Our Security: https://saveoursecurity.net

To support the fight, WaGuns is raffling off some amazing items!

#1 - Sig P365 pistol engraved with the WaGuns logo (NIB) WINNER - Boomer

The winner of these will be able to send a woman of their choice (or themselves, if they are a woman) to an upcoming Women-Only Basic Protection and Handgun Selection Class. Dates are towards the end of October and in November. Winners can coordinate with member Rutilate on which date(s) work best for them.

#6 & 7 - Annual Membership to the National Rifle Association!

This awesome donation is from member db-elwood, and will require an FFL transfer.

#9 - Assembled Anderson Manufacturing AR-15 Lower Receiver WINNER - toywin12
Spoiler: show
Image

Here's another good start to your very own 1639-inspired "assault rifle." :rofl9: This is a stripped lower from Anderson Manufacturing, already built up with the lower parts kit. What's in the blue bag, you ask? It's the rest of the parts for the rear takedown pin and the buffer plunger. Slap on an upper, a buffer/tube and a stock (if you're building as a rifle), and away you go! A big thank you to Ops for this donation!

#10 - Bolt-Action EDP (Every Day Pen) WINNER - richj11
Spoiler: show
We've all seen them . . . we've all wanted one. This prize is one of delliottg's hand-made EDPs (Every Day Pens), in bolt-action of course. The winner will be able to choose from the wood species that David has in stock, and the final product will look similar to these:

You can see more photos and discussion about these cool pens here.

#11 - Women's Firearm Safety Course from Adventure Protection WINNER - richj11
Spoiler: show
Generously donated by member Rutilate. Yes, this is the same as prizes #2 and #3 but this one is specifically for the class on Saturday, October 6th. The winner will be able to send a woman of their choice (or themselves, if they are a woman) to the October 6th Women-Only Basic Protection and Handgun Selection Class. A special, early drawing will be held on September 26th for this prize; any entries received after that drawing are not eligible for this prize. The winner of this prize will still be eligible for the remaining prizes in the final drawing.
EDIT: We may not be able to support the class on 10/6, but this will be coordinated with the winner. If the 10/6 class cannot be supported, then the winner will receive a free course at a later date.

All money raised will be donated to Save Our Security (S.O.S.), who is leading the charge to defeat I-1639!

Click here to see the rules and stuff.
Spoiler: show
Here are the rules:
  • Every entry costs $20; you may buy as many entries as you like. Post on this thread that you have donated and for how many entries.
  • The winner of any firearms will need to complete a transfer at an FFL. WaGuns will pay for the transfer.
  • If the winner does not live in the Puget Sound area and a local meet cannot be arranged, WaGuns will ship the pistol to an FFL near the winner. The winner will be responsible for any transfer fees, taxes, etc. if the prize is not a firearm, WaGuns will pay the shipping to the winner.
  • The winner of any firearm needs to pay $1 for the firearm. You are entering a raffle to win a chance to buy that firearm for $1.[
  • Each entry is completely separate from all other entries. If a winner appears multiple times on the winners' list, then that person wins a separate prize for each entry on the list.

Please think of this as a fundraiser to fight I-1639, not as a raffle for a pistol. Let's throw some SERIOUS money at this, folks! If you are planning to donate to the fight anyhow, then put your money here . . . you may just win the gun!

Post below with "In for X entries," and send your donation via PayPal to paypal@waguns.org, or use the yellow "Donate" button at the top of the page. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use the Donate button; you can simply use a credit card.

Let's beat this thing!

This fundraiser will end on Sunday, October 7th. The drawing will happen shortly after the fundraiser ends using a random list generator online. The winning list will be posted here and the winners will be notified. The first winner will have their choice of prizes, then the second will get their choice, so on, so on until there are no prizes remaining.

We may modify this fundraiser to add additional items, or extend the time if warranted.

Updated one of the rules to state you must post in this thread that you are in, and for how many entries. That way we know what's for the fundraiser, and what's for a general site donation (but really people, unless you are looking to obtain site supporter status, do NOT donate to us just to donate. Donate to THIS)
